Zala HES Projesi

Belonging to Ahmet Hakan Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., located at İğdir locality in Araç district, Kastamonu, on the Araç River, the Zala Regulator and HPP consists of a 9,950-meter open (trapezoidal) canal water transmission structure and 3 Francis-type turbines, with a total capacity of 5.760 MWm / 5.422 MWe and an annual production capacity of 16.256 GWh. It began operating on 16.05.2014. The generated energy is transmitted via a 36 kV transmission line to the Araç substation. It is within the scope of YEKDEM.
