In addition to the Araç River, the plant is located approximately 1 km from the Araç Canyon on the Çibiş Stream, one of Turkey's notable canyons, with water collected via an artificial reservoir-type regulator. It uses a 940-meter enclosed concrete canal (conduit) water transmission line. It consists of 3 Kaplan-type turbines, with an installed capacity of 3.084 MWm / 2.990 MWe.
