Kuzkaya 1 Hes Projesi

Belonging to Usta Hidroelektrik Enerji Üretim A.Ş., located at İğdir locality in Araç district, Kastamonu, on the Araç River, this consists of two power plants: Kuzkaya-1 and Kuzkaya-2. Together they have a total capacity of 6.775 MWm / 6.518 MWe and an annual production capacity of 19.899 GWh. Operations began on 25.10.2020. The generated energy is transmitted via a 36 kV transmission line to the Araç substation. It is within the scope of YEKDEM. Kuzkaya-1 has a 5,970-meter open (trapezoidal) canal water transmission structure with 2 Francis-type turbines and a total capacity of 2.691 MWm / 3.528 MWe.
